Seiwakai Seminar in Manchester, 18-19 November 2023

Students from Oxford Karate Academy and Oxon Karate Club attended the Seiwakai England Seminar in Manchester with Shihan Gurmit Singh (7th Dan, President of Seiwakai England) on 18-19 November 2023.

Shihan Gurmit presented a mind-expanding seminar, including in-depth examination of movement and effective techniques for kumite that invited us to re-think many of the concepts. Ju is power!

Thank you to Shihan Gurmit for this thoughtful and useful seminar, and to Sensei Steve Sijuwade and Hoshindo Karate for excellent hosting. It was also great to see so many of our Seiwakai friends including the group from Poland!

Training with Sensei Jerry Kelly

We were delighted to welcome Sensei Jerry Kelly (5th Dan) down from the Wirral to teach in our Tuesday and Wednesday classes at Risinghurst. Sensei
