Oxford Karate Academy has had a fantastic 2012.

This year has been a fantastically blessed year.

In May we had two more 3rd Dans who passed Seiwa Kai and Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai tests. Well done to Sensei Mark Annett and Sensei Zuzana Meryova.

In October we had more additions to our roll of honour black belt success list.

Later in October at  the Traditional Karate Federation Championships, the Oxford Karate Academy did well with

so many juniors winning medals.

Our dojo last year entered 13 competitors and we took 4 gold and a bronze. THIS year we entered 14 competitors and took 2 x bronze, 3 x silver and 4 x golds. OKA has great classes, great committment and a great history.

Results were:
Josh Davies GOLD kata bronze kumite
Artur Pirogov GOLD kumite silver kata
Seishiro Suzumura GOLD kumite
Seishiro Suzumura GOLD kata
Lucas Churchill silver kata
Burhan Saeed silver kumite

The past few weeks has seen 14 blackbelts in ONE class, including 1 x 4th Dan and 6 x 3rd Dans.
